Redmi Note 17 Unboxing ASMR Edition
This Redmi Note 17 unboxing goes fully ASMR, with no commentary and no music just the crisp sound of the box opening and the phone coming out for the first time. The Phonzio team wanted this reveal to feel as calm as the phone’s own eye-care display promises to be.
What’s Inside the Box
The package includes the handset, a 45W charging brick, a USB-C cable, a protective case, and the standard documentation. Xiaomi still bundles a charger here, which isn’t a given at this price point anymore.
Display and Design
A 6.99-inch AMOLED panel dominates the front, running at 120Hz with peak brightness up to 1800 nits. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen and Xiaomi rates it for 3,000 scratch-resistance cycles. Beyond durability, the display also carries TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and circadian-friendly viewing, so extended use should feel easier on the eyes.
Performance
Inside, a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset handles everyday tasks, and RAM extension pushes capacity up to 16GB. As a result, multitasking and casual app use should feel smooth, though this isn’t a gaming-first chipset.
Battery and Charging
A 7,700mAh battery anchors the phone, and Xiaomi claims over two days of typical use per charge. Additionally, 45W turbo charging keeps downtime short. For durability, the Note 17 carries an IP65 rating, so it handles dust and low-pressure water jets without issue.
Camera
A 50MP main sensor leads the rear camera setup, paired with a secondary lens for added versatility. It’s a straightforward setup built for everyday photography rather than pro-level shots.
