Our Infinix GT 50 Pro Cooling Edition unboxing skips the commentary entirely and goes full ASMR. The Phonzio team wanted to let the sound do the talking this time: the seal peeling, the box lid lifting, and that satisfying first look at Infinix’s gaming flagship.
What’s Inside the Box
The package keeps things straightforward: the handset, a 45W charging brick, a USB-C cable, a protective case, and the usual documentation. Infinix still includes a charger here, which is a nice touch at this price point.
Design and Cooling System
This is where the phone earns its name. A textured, carbon-fiber-inspired backplate hints at the “hypercar engineering” design language Infinix leaned into. But the real story is underneath: HydroFlow Liquid Cooling uses dual ceramic micro-pumps to actively circulate coolant through laser-engraved channels, feeding into a massive 7,700mm² 3D vapor chamber. Altogether, the cooling area covers 32,700mm², which Infinix says is over 60% larger than last year’s model.
Display and Performance
A 6.78-inch AMOLED panel leads the front, with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching 4,500 nits. Powering it all, the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset pairs with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, so gaming and multitasking both stay smooth even under load.
Camera and Gaming Features
On the back, a 50MP main sensor with OIS handles most shots, joined by an 8MP ultrawide lens. Meanwhile, the gaming side of things stands out: Pressure-Sense GT Triggers, customizable RGB lighting, and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers round out the experience for competitive play.
Battery and Charging
A 6,500mAh battery anchors the device, supported by 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. As a result, long gaming sessions shouldn’t drain the phone as quickly as older models. The build also carries an IP64 rating for splash and dust resistance.
